“Parent support is very strong; every parent responding to the online survey would recommend the school. ‘It offers children support, challenge and community spirit’.” Ofsted 2013
A Brief Introduction...
Glebeland is a Community Primary School located in Toft Monks catering for children between the ages of 4 and 11 years. It was formed following the closure and amalgamation of local village schools in 1984, although some of the school buildings date back to 1866. Originally the school served those living in the surrounding villages of Aldeby, Burgh St Peter, Haddiscoe, Toft Monks and Wheatacre. However, in recent years an increasing, number of children have joined us who live out of the catchment area. This includes children from St Olaves, Heckingham, Fritton, Somerleyton, Thurlton, Hales, Beccles, Raveningham and Stockton. Glebeland is a founder member of The Consortium Multi Academy Trust.
